This is my InstantHUD including translucency for the map. It will make the health, armor and energy bars instantly update instead of updating gradually. It also removes some annoying eye candy from the marine HUD.

Installation instructions:
1. Extract the file into your ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Natural Selection 2\ folder

2.a) Make a shortcut to your NS2.exe with -game InstantHUD_TransMap appended to the target field
       or
2.b) Click properties on Natural Selection 2 in Steam and "set launch options" to -game InstantHUD_TransMap. Be aware though that you cannot start the Editor or Decoda through Steam anymore because those programs expect different command lines.

(optional) 3. You can add mods to one another by merging the contents of the mod folders. As long as they don't use the same files or make some weird redefinitions of main functions, they should work together.

Latest version works for build 220.
